    I joined the Shearer Chevrolet team as a Sales Representative in December of 1993. In July of 2000 I became the General Manager of Shearer Oldsmobile, Pontiac, and Cadillac. In September of 2007 I took over as the General Manager of Shearer Chevrolet.

    Before joining Shearer I graduated from the University of Vermont in 1990 with a BS in Finance and Marketing. In 2007 I was inducted into the University of Vermont's Hall of Fame in Track and Field and Soccer. I'm a member of the Boulder's Honor Society with UVM and a member of the Shriners and Freemasons.

    I live in Shelburne with my wife Sherry and our two boys, Dylan and Justin. In my free time I play soccer, volleyball and golf. I enjoy skiing and snowboarding, traveling and checking out the new movie releases.

    I joined Shearer Chevrolet in December 2008 with more than 8 years  of experience in the automotive industry. Prior to my career in the automotive world, I held management positions in the Retail industry. I moved to Vermont years ago to open an electronics store. After a number of years I accepted a GM position at an office supply store.  What drew me to Shearer was the dealerships reputation.

    I grew up in Colebrook, NH and currently live in Williston with my wife, son and daughter on the way! On my days off you'll find me hunting, fishing, or with my family.

    Good day, my name is Jim Donovan, Sales Manager at Shearer Chevrolet. I have worked for the Shearer family for over 30 years. I'm a life long resident of Vermont, having lived the last 31 years in Williston. I recently celebrated 20 years of marriage to my wife Frannie. We have two grown sons who are finally married and we are looking forward to grandchildren. I spend my summers on the lake and my winters skiing, snowshoeing and hiking with our Bouvier Des Flanders, Lucca.

    You'll typically find me at the sales desk in the showroom putting together all of our fantastic deals. If I'm not at my desk I'm probably in the office sharpening my pencil. I'd like to invite all our customers and friends to stop in to say "hi" and enjoy a warm cup of coffee with me.

    Hi, my name is Chuck Williams and I joined Shearer Chevrolet in 1972 as a Sales Consultant after serving 8 years in the US Air Force. In 1977 I became the Truck and Fleet Sales Manager. My department is responsible for all sales to the State and Municipalities plus local businesses.

    I have been married for 38 years to my wife Gail and we have 2 children and 3 grandchildren.

    Hello my name is John White. I am the Prep Shop Manager at Shearer Chevrolet. I have worked here for the past 35 years. After taking automotive courses in high school I got a job here.

     

    I am married to my lovely wife Theresa whom I met here (she works in the office) we have been together since 1973. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my cat (blossom) and tinkering on old land rovers.

    Hello my name is Hank Barnes. I've been with Shearer Chevrolet for 21 years. I started my career in the finance department helping  people with leasing and financing options. Now, as a sales representative, I enjoy helping my customers find the right vehicle. 

    In my spare time I enjoy golfing, hockey, skiing and cheering for the NY Giants. I have been happily married to my wife Kate for 20 years.

    Hello and thanks for choosing Shearer Chevrolet. My name is Josh Payea and I am car crazy. I own 4 vehicles, enjoy working on them and love selling them. I am one of the newer faces here at Shearer. I started back in May 2008 and so far it' been a blast.

     
    Previously I worked at Green Mountain Coffee Roasters and attended Vermont Technical College for Mechanical Engineering. In my free time you can find me at Thunder Road or at home working on my race car. During the winter I enjoy snowmobiling with family and friends.

    Hi my name is Tim Baptie, a sales representative for Shearer Chevrolet since August 2008. I am new to the dealership and to the car business and love it.

    Before I came to work for the dealership I was the bar manager for the Long Trail Beverage Company in Bridgewater Corners, VT for about 4 years. It was a great job because I got to meet new and dynamic people everyday.

    I currently live in Colchester, VT on Mallets Bay with my roommate. In my spare time when I'm not at the dealership you will usually find me wake boarding on Lake Champlain or playing golf on one of the local country clubs.

    I am very excited about joining the sales team at Shearer Chevrolet and I am looking forward to meeting you! Thanks see you soon!

    Hello, my name is Mike Laclair. I've been in the auto industry for about 13 years and just recently joined the Shearer Chevrolet team. I joined Shearer because of it's reputation for treating customers and employees with respect and honesty.


    When I am not at the dealership, I enjoy spending time with my family and being outdoors. I have three children ranging in age from 13 years to 10 months. As a family we enjoy hiking, fishing and kayaking.

    My name is Doug Bouvier and for the past 5 years I have lived in Vergennes, VT with my wife Jennifer Honeywood, our dog and 2 cats.

    I previously worked at Shearer Chevrolet in Sales and Management for approximately 20 years. I left the car business for several years to pursue other interests and do some traveling.

    Hello, my name is Andrea Grant, Business Development Manager at Shearer Chevrolet. I've been with the dealership since mid July 2008. Prior to my promotion as the BDC Manager, I worked in sales and administration. As the BDC Manager, I handle incoming internet leads as well as internet content. I enjoy getting to know the customer and assisting them in their search for a new vehicle.

    Before coming to Vermont I grew up in Milford, Maine and graduated with my BS in Business Management from Husson College in Maine. While in school I worked full-time in the financial market at the University Credit Union. After 4 ½ years of service with the Credit Union I had the opportunity to move to South Burlington, Vermont with my husband Chris and daughter Taylor.

    In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family and watching my infant daughter grow and learn. As a music afficiando  I enjoy playing tenor sax and listening to music. I use to be heavily involved with the Marching Band and Pep Band at the University of Maine.

    I look forward to meeting and hearing more about Vermont as everyday I'm learning where things are and what great shops and restaurants are around Burlington.

    My name is Mark Fucile and I handle the Internet Sales here at Shearer Chevrolet.  I have over 5 years experience as a Sales Consultant always striving to exceed my customer's expectations.  Previously, I've enjoyed time as a buyer for a local outdoor power equipment manufacturer.  How I graduated form Castleton State with a degree in Journalism and ended up in the car industry I'll never know - but I like it and am delighted to be with such a great group of people.

     

    When I'm not responding to customer's New and Pre-Owned vehicle needs online I spend as much time outside as I can.  I love kayaking all of Lake Champlain and New England, biking through the trails and along the roads of wherever I am and pushing myself at the gym -- always looking to improve and have fun.

    Hi my name is Whitney Fitzgerald and I am the Fresh Start Administrator at Shearer Chevrolet.  I started with the Shearer Group in 2002, first at our Pontiac store as Office Administrator then moved to Shearer Chevrolet to be the title clerk.  A month ago I came on board in the Fresh Start department.  I enjoy working here at Shearer Chevrolet, the staff is great and I enjoy meeting and working with new people.

    When I am not at the dealership, I enjoy spending time with my husband of 4 1/2 years John and our 22 month old son Riley.  I also love spending time with the rest of my family.  I also love to do Jazzercise in my spare time and in the summer I love spending time on the lake either jet skiing or boating.

    I started in the auto industry in 1986 working for an import brand becoming a Service Manager for General Motors in 1997. I bring all my years of service experience to Shearer Chevrolet, a dealership that treats employees like family. I have resided in Williston for more than 40 years. I have two sons, Nick and Keenan, and a stepdaughter Amanda who just gave birth to a baby boy Adam.

    I enjoy spending time on the lake, in an RV park or just chasing a little white ball on a golf course.
